I have built around 50 computer systems for friends and family, so I would consider myself an expert in system building and computer products. I have again and again come back to this same processor to put in a wide array of systems.

The reason for this is its excellent bang for buck ratio. This chip will outperform many similarly priced intel dual core products. OK for high end systems go for intel, but if you are looking for a mid range system with no intention to overclock then AMD is the one for me. I currently use this in my media centre system in my living room, where it comfortably handles HD playback, gaming, and more general PC use.

If you dont want to spend an arm and a leg on a CPU then this CPU is the one for you, it will still last you years even if you video edit and play games.

Summary: this will be more than enough for 99% of system users
