the amd duron is an excellent choice for anyone thinking of upgrading it has cutting edge speed at budget prices and beats intels celeron and celeron flipchip with ease it is an excellent processor for gamers as i got a score of 5,333 in 3dmark 2000 i found this cpu to be very stable and worked well with all hardware i tried with it which most processor can definetly not do like the celeron crashes with a lot of glide games.
so if you want give the amd duron a try it definetly gives celeron a run for its money.
