AMD Phenom 9500 / 2.2 GHz

AMD Phenom 9500 quad core processor reviewed. I'm not the biggest PC hardware master, but I have some knowledge about it, and I need to say that this processor surprised me with it's great power. It uses socket AM2+, but I've heard it works on AM2 socket unfortunately on AM2 socket you can't use it's full potential due to changes in processor architecture. The 65 nm technology does not only save energy but as well it keeps the CPU cooler, it does not produce so much heat. I recently bought this processor after having the fan stop on my old CPU and it breaking. It was the AMD 6400+. I therefore decided to get a quad core, but was quite unsure whether it woud run the games I want well; as a lot of them do not support quad core. However, I was pleasantly suprised as it seems to run all the games I have tried very well, including ones that don't have native support for quad core. If you often use programs such as winrar; this will increase the speed astronomically compared to single and dual core processors.
