AMD Phenom 9500 quad core processor reviewed.
I'm not the biggest PC hardware master, but I have some knowledge about it, and I need to say that this processor surprised me with it's great power.

It uses socket AM2+, but I've heard it works on AM2 socket unfortunately on AM2 socket you can't use it's full potential due to changes in processor architecture. The 65 nm technology does not only save energy but as well it keeps the CPU cooler, it does not produce so much heat. The 4 cores make it a great choice for people who use many applications at the same time, like a busy office worker. The multitasking of this processor is at really high standards, I own this processor and at the same time, I surf the internet with many tabs opened, I have many documents opened, few applications and communicators and it still won't get stuck even for a sec. so it's number one choice for busy work environment.
The other thing about this processor is even when it's powerful you can still overclock it, and it overclocks really well. My Phenom overclocked from 2.2 gigahertz to 2.5 gigahertz without bigger problems, this makes him even more powerful but the overclocked processors consume more energy so I prefer to keep it on his standard speed, so I will save some money on bills like I've wrote before.

Game experience with this processor was a big surprise for me, my friends have told me that it's not going to be a big difference if I'll have 4 cores, but they were wrong, I have played Crisis on maximum details, and the processor was doing its job, in Unreal Tournament 3 it was the same, and still you can use your music player software and it won't change a thing thanks to AMD multitasking power.
AMD Phenom 9500 is a great processor due to its multitasking power, overclocking possibilities and energy save 65nm technology. It's great choice for home PC, gamer PC and office PC. The price of AMD products is always fair and the products they give you for it are high quality, and with this processor they prove again that they care about their clients.
