just buy a new compurter this proccessor is weak.

All processors are rated and measured on their gigahertz or GHz and the lower gives you the slowest and worst amount of speed. What some people don't know is that they can still experience lag on a computer no matter how high the GHz is because they don't have enough ram to support all the programs running at one time one a computer. I did not purchase this item directly, i bought an old dell dimension 2400 computer and it happened to have that processor already installed. I wouldn't buy it even if i had a computer that has less GHz, because a computer that old needs to be trashed. My AMD sempron 3200 1.87 GHz processor was hooked up with a 2 GB amount of ram but still seemed to be slow. now this is and older processor made for older computers so quality and speed are definitely not expected, but for its prices around sometimes less than 5 dollars on eBay might be worth the buy if someone is really trying to keep their older slower computer. The company AMD itself is a highly recommend company that provides some of the best computer parts and equipment. I would buy a new CPU from them in a heart beat if its better than the one i have. If someone asked me if they should buy an AMD sempron 1.8 ghz prosecutor, then i would tell them if a computer is that bad to where this is an upgrade then i would tell; them to trash the computer
