AMD Turion 64 MT-37 / 2 GHz

The Turion MT-37 is a decent processor for notebook use but even for desktop use, it draws only 25 watt(against 45 of the new generation Amd and 65 Intel) while under stress and is probably comparable to new single core processor. IT has a speed of 2 Ghz and is as good as any processor of the new generation but use the old socket 754 mainboards. I personally replaced a old athlon xp 1700 socket A processor only changing Mainboard and processor. I used the Turion for a system with ubuntu and the processor only get to 30° celsius.
