Jakg AMD Athlon 64 3700+ / 2.2 GHz: ... bought this CPU a year ago, and it was a 3700 KAB1E stepping, one of the gems of this CPU is its massive overclocking potential, with the KABxE series being the pinnacles, as such i have maintained an overclock to 3.07 GHz, making this faster than the £500 FX57 CPU, all for free! This CPU is 2.2 GHz with a 200 MHz FSB like all Athlon 64 s and has a multiplier of 11x, however you can lower this but not raise it. T...

berliozz_n AMD Athlon 64 2800+ / 1.8 GHz
... is a good CPU. It has a very good overlocking potential - up to 2900 MHz. This result can be attain if you have a good motherboard with chipset as NForce4. This processor are faster than all Intel CPU for the same price(Celeron D, P4 Prescott). It has an integrated DDR memory controller, what good syning at perfomance. It reduce RAM latency. But this memory controller is a single channel. In my opinion it is a good fast cpu for this money. I have use it from 2005....

JGK555 AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+ / 2.2 GHz
... amount of memory that they support, 4 GB limit for 32-bit machines and a almost unlimited amount of RAM for 64-bit systems, I think its something like 10 - 16,000,000 GB which doesent realy matter since most motherboards can only handle between 4 - 16 GB plus buying that much Ram would be expensive. Why choose Dual Core ````````````````````````````````` 1. Temperature I always noticed my old AMD 3000+ processor was running at high temps (about 55 degrees+), I ve went through many heatsinks and fans trying to find a quiet one with no luck always had to settle for a high speed fan that made a noisy system. I ve tried running multiple programs and applications on my 420...

udippel AMD Sempron 2600+ / 1.6 GHz
... for it. As long as it is available. I got off the last series here; since AMD has long stopped production. So I got it for a good price ("it is obsolete !"), too. If I were a gamer, I couldn t recommend it, but everyone knows that Sempron is the cheapo-series of AMD anyway. At around US$ 40 it is simply great. I bought a nice, cheapo, mainboard with it, similar price, and 512 MB of DDR400. Also around that number. The three make a fantastic desktop; everything onboard (sorry, waiting for the product to become available for review on dooyoo !) and definitively fast and responsive enough for all kind of office applications. Best of all: When you get the SD*...
