Advantages: Great value and fast.

Disadvantages: Only a 3mb cache.

I recently bought a computer with the Intel Core 2 Duo E7300 processor inside it. The computer was a zoostorm E7300. It has been a great processor and so far I have had no problems at all. It performs well for my needs and can even handle a bit of light gaming. I can run Microsoft Flight Simulator X at full graphics settings and that game puts more strain on you processor than your graphics card for some reason. I can get around 30-40 frames per second on it. I ran a PC Mark 05 test and there were some noticable hiccups in some of the video tests but apart from that it has been perfect. If you are going for a powerful computer then i would reccomend spending around £160-£260 on a processor but if all you are going to use your computer for is some occasional games and mainly doing work then it's great. By the way if you don't have a life and play world of warcraft then this processor is more than capable of handling a 24hr session of fight arenas. I havn't overclocked it but i have read that is overclocks very well so it will probably be capable of handling more advanced games and save you money. Overall i would rate it an 8/10 as it is very fast but only has a 3mb cache. It can handle games very well aswell but only with the right graphics card. I would highly reccomend it as it will fit most peoples needs apart from serious gamers and film editors. Thankyou for reading and please rate.

Summary: Highly reccomend as it will probably fit your needs.

Well my video card is crap. flight simulator x is a cpu dependant game and it is pretty much the only game i can run on full settings.

I wonder how much of the video performance is due to the CPU and how to the video card?
