Intel Pentium 4 640 / 3.2 GHz

This processor was probably near the last of the medium-high end home processors to be made before the introduction of multiple cored processors. I have been using this particular item in a computer for the last 3 years without any performance problems what so ever. There is however one annoying problem - the processor cooling fan that is supplied in the retail boxed package is far too loud. Yes it shifts a decent amount of air and does an all right job of cooling. It is annoying to have a constant whine whilst using your computer.
