This was my very first upgrade for my ancient PC, and as far as i can tell, its been the only thing that has made it worth switching on.
For starters its made it much faster, and now running administrative tasks such as command prompt has made it open instantly providing its done from the "Run" menu.
Opening everyday programs like Mozilla Firefox or Safari has been a little different because of my internet speed, but the actual opening of the browser happens much faster.
Its not the cheapest on the market but so long as you have the hardware to go with this then it will completely change your PC.
It has some flaws too like set-up time. It took me half an hour to get through the help pages, and ill tell you now: There is a ton of jargon that makes no sense to a regular household PC User. I work with computers all the time, and upgrade them, yet even I had trouble setting it up.
It has lasted though. My computer has had plenty of virus sent through it and despite this it has lasted. It does need a defrag though once every so often to keep it in optimum performance.
I would not say it is the most reliable on a cramped PC with lots of files and little memory to spare.
Providing you have a good ram it will open programs at light speed but be sure to keep the max number of windows open to a bare minimum.
Don't go opening 4 youtube videos at once, as this gets your PC usage up and that's where it starts to become unreliable, and crash.
It is recommended though but only for household PCs, commercial PCs and business use PCs will struggle to find it easy to use on a day to day basis as it was not designed for such things.
