Do not waste your time or hard earned cash.

I brought my fiancée a course, studying with ICS as a gift. The first sign of a problem was when materials never arrived. We phoned a very rushed, rude and unhelpful customer service dept. We were told we had not paid for the course. A week later, after having to send proof of payment, in form of my bank statement to ICS, the materials arrived. Consider the fact that during this period we chased constantly, were never given a real update or any sympathy and phone calls went unreturned frequently from ICS's end. Amazingly, there was never even an apology!

We complained about the lack of support during this period and received a letter stating that someone would get back to us within 21 working days by letter. Unfortunately ICS still haven't got round to this, despite it being now 2 months into the course. It never stops their requests for further payment.

Today my fiancée tried to cancel and again got the usual unhelpful operator with rude telephone manner to match. Apparently you cannot cancel an account with these guys after 7 days of receipt of the course, despite complaining within 7 days and not receiving an answer.

I write this now to warn you, do not pay for this standard of customer service, it could prove problematic for you too. I now refuse to pay ICS another penny as I cannot trust they will administrate the course smoothly, or in a professional manner. If necessary we will take legal action against them.
