powsucks Gap Years in general: ... i learnt more in my gap year than i did during the first year of University. Since Morzine i have traveled quite a lot (working whenever possible to save the funds) and i continue to learn more about life and other cultures. I am also planning another gap year after university, to cycle to India. The term Gap year puzzles me, why does it have to be considered a gap? I wish to continue traveling for many years to com...

TimStavert Gap Years in general
... I admit I haven t read the book, I have reservations on people taking gap years. If you have loads of guaranteed cash to see them through the future then maybe you can. If you are ordinary, independent on the other hand, then think again. You the students have studied since the age of five up to your GCSEs and A Levels. You believe you are entitled to a rest before possibly going off to University with encouragement of the Government and the planned improvement for further education. Fair enough you have earned a holiday for all the hard work you have put in. But don t be fooled by the bureaucracy of our Government and educational systems that want to find some ...

... whilst giving them their money back! So what sort of things does a Customer Service Adviser do? Dealing with customers is obviously the most important aspect of the job, and that means them all, the nice ones and the rude ones. Cash handling is often a bit part of the role if you re working in the retail or banking industry. On the other hand, you could be working at a call centre. My boyfriend worked in a Royal Mail call centre for a few years and he said it felt like the end of the world everytime he sat at his desk and listened to people complaining all day long! jodyv Learning Tree
... based in Birmingham, the main training provider in the area used by my company is Parity. Having attended a number of theirs course ranging from Prince 2 to Unix Shell Scripting, and a few courses from other suppliers, I believe I have a good selection for comparison. Learning Tree aren t the cheapest and when attending a London course you will pay the extra, however as I wasn t paying the bill cost didn t enter the equation. The course I took cover .NET Programming including C#, ASP.NET with Visual Studio however the course gives you the option to cover VB.NET intead. In compariosn to Parity, the room was much better equiped with better computers and presenting ...
