Optoma EP706: ... far as projectors go, this is at the low end of the scale. I bought mine for £250, a bargain considering the quality. The unit is very small - it s like Optoma squeezed it into the bottom third of a bookshelf speaker. It s also quite light, it feels not much heavier than a large book. Build quality is ok, for £250 i got a little bit more than i was expecting in terms of rigidity. The only exception is the silly l...

AndrewPo Panasonic PT AX100E
... have been using the Panasonic PT AX 100E as my main TV for just over a year now. I paid £900 for it then, but the price has dropped and even the improved PT AX200 can now be bought for about £700. The picture quality is extremely good in a dark room and quite watchable during the day even with the curtains open for all but the darkest movies. In bright conditions the colours can become a little washed-out although there are various viewing options on the remote control to compensate a little. For some very dark films however you should wait until the room can be blacked out completely. The lens is large and of very high quality with a wide ranging zoom. Many home cine...

Jonny_L Optoma EP706
... is an incredibly good projector for the money. It cost me around £280 from PC world. The picture quality is pretty good, though it must be said that it works much better in a darkened room. I ve used it for everything, from hooking up to a PC, watching TV and films, to playing Wii, and there s not one point where I ve been disappointed by it. The bulb life is good on this one too, one of the reasons why I opted for it. The bulbs are around £120 on the internet, so pricy but not as much as some. It s not too noisy, and it s also pretty small and light, so you won t need to worry about bringing the ceiling down if you re mounting it. Another thing worth menti...

otalgia Optoma Movietime DV10
... Optoma MovieTime DV10 is a home cinema enthusiasts dream. Having its own integrated DVD player and amplifier allows the use to unpack, plug in and project your movies to a white wall or dedicated screen within minutes. Operation of the DV10 is really straight forward - You simply remove the lens cap, turn the power on, select the signal source, focus and position your projection and enjoy. Signal source selection is straight forward. The unit scans the input ports at the rear of the unit and also scans the integrated DVD drive for an inserted disc. If there are multiple sources connected then you can toggle between these using a button on the supplied remote. For D...
