nickn5 Panasonic PT AE900: ... this projector does not seem to be available to buy new anymore, as it came out about 3 years ago at the time of writing, but as I own it and it may help someone: Panasonic produced this model just as high definition was starting to become widely accepted, and it is high-def compatible or ready , but only up to 1280 x 720. It does have the HDMI input (one socket), and also the SCART, S-Video, PC, Component RGB...

... have been teaching using one of these for nearly a year now and I have been very pleased with it. The brightness and clarity that this projector produces are such that I often forget to turn off the lights when using it. Very impressive. This machine has all the features you would expect, a good remote control with easy access to all features, a warning when you turn off to ensure that you don t do so accidentally and all the inputs I ever need in the classroom including: PS2, USB, S Video, Audio, Component Audio and VGA. It also has onboard sound which can be useful along with easily accessible volume and mute controls. The keystone function works well and levels its...

slugfilm Optoma ES520
... bought this unit juct over ten months ago and it has changed my life. it is the first projector i have ever owned, and it is great. it was really easy to set up. i have an awkward shape living room, but the unit allows you to use somethig called "keystone" settings to alter the angle of the lens. this means that the unit can sit on the floor pointing up at the wall and still be a perfect rectangle. (or on the ceiling and vice versa). the other great thing is the ability to zoom the image in an out to make it the perfect size for your wall. all in all it is very dynamic and flexible. the lamp is good but not great. it is bright enough in daylight but is...

It s basically a great quality DVD projector which (with the right cables) you can also hook up to your T.V and internet. Okay - so. . . My housemate got this bad boy recently and we ve had so much fun using it. I was initially worried about the sound quality however it is as good as any T.V and you can hook it up to speakers if you have them. The picture quality is really great for the most part although I m not sure how the black is balanced as darker areas all seem to look a bit samey in some shows. Getting the position of the box i...
