Combining a 6-segment Color-wheel design, a powerful image processor and the advanced Lamp Illumination technology, ColorBoost II delivers an entirely new level of color performance. The image processor uses Acer Best Color Tracking technology to improve image gradation, enriching darkest details, and displaying more natural colors. Input signal consistency ensures optimized performance for all content, whereas HSG (Hue Saturation Gain) color tuning tweaks main colors for more natural skin tones. Acer's proprietary lamp waveform design optimizes multimedia performance in bright environments.

The P1270 projector also features Acer EcoProjection, an environmentally friendly management solution that reduces power consumption by up to 50% in standby mode. If the projector receives no signal for 5 minutes, the projector automatically enters ECO mode, reducing power consumption by up to 20%. In addition, ECO mode can be enabled when ambient light does not require full illumination, thus extending the lifespan of the lamp and reducing noise and power consumption.

To enhance usability, the P1270 integrates Acer SmartFormat technology, a multi-format support technology that grants instant projection regardless of output display resolution, thus avoiding non-supported signal issues and the need to change the resolution of the notebook.
