Benq MP611The MP611 incorporates an efficient, but quiet ventilation design that circulates air more quickly and effectively. The improved airflow means the MP611 can keep its cool even with its cooling fan is running slower, and thus more quietly. How quiet? The MP611 runs at just 25dB in its power-saving mode, making it literally whisper-quiet. Another design touch you'll appreciate is the auto-off feature, which shuts the projector down if no input sources are detected after a set time, conserving power and preventing possible overheating. The MP611 even performs reliably in harsh environments, such as high altitudes, thanks to its special operating modes. These modes automatically adjust the cooling fan speeds and other settings to ensure optimal operation whatever the ambient conditions. The MP611 doesn't just give you the performance to deliver knockout presentations, but it also helps you with handy features like the MyScreen software, power on/off alert, panel key lock, and presentation timer. You and your audience will appreciate the built-in timer that helps keep your presentations at the right pace. An unobtrusive on-screen timer lets you keep track of how much time you have remaining, while your audience is freed from wondering where you are in your presentation so they can concentrate on you and the content you're presenting instead. The MP611 provides a discreet alert that lets you know when the projector has powered on before a presentation or finished cooling afterwards, so you can stay engaged with your audience without needing to look at visual indicators. The MyScreen software makes it a snap to create a custom start-up screen, like a photo or company logo. Connect the MP611 to your PC with a common RS-232 cable and start up MyScreen. MyScreen will prompt you to select the image file you want to use, and then upload it to the MP611 so you can put your personal stamp on every presentation. BenQ realizes that not every presentation or movie will have the benefit of a pitch-dark room, so that's why it features a powerful 2400-lumen lamp that ensures a bright picture even in sunlit rooms. Regardless of the lighting conditions, that the MP611 delivers the best possible viewing experience. To ensure that even subtle differences in tints are brought out, the MP611 provides an astounding 2000: 1 contrast ratio. The result is extraordinarily crisp rendering of the finest details for utterly realistic video. For added flexibility and convenience, BenQ has added a blackboard mode to the MP611. That means even in a classroom or other venues where only a blackboard is available, you can still display legible text, cleanly rendered images, and crisp video. Simply switch the mode on and let the MP611 handle all the needed adjustments. More Benq projectors
