Just got this projector for our classroom and I had to express the joy I have with it. This projector works absolutely well in classrooms, especially classrooms such as the one I teach in, since space is restricted, the short throw technology on this unit is brilliant. It projects 81 inches of display at only 1 meter of distance from the lens to the board! That is amazing; I am speechless every time I see it. The brightness of the projector is also a great advantage as it can perform in semi-bright conditions. It is important to note that in a teaching environment absolute darkness is not ideal, as students would fall asleep or strain their eyes from taking notes. So ideally a projector would have to work with surrounding lighting conditions.
Although this projector is 4:3 aspect ratios (1024x768) it can adapt to 16:9 displays and works fairly well. However, for teaching purposes I prefer the 4:3 aspect ratios, I believe students prefer it as well, as it pictures documents and PowerPoint's more proportionally. If 1024x768 is not enough you could max the resolution to 1280x1024. This projector offers a lot for the very affordable price that it sits at. This projector is a great device for space constraint teaching environments, with an extremely bright bulb and high contrast, it is one of the most adaptable and ease-to-use projectors I have worked with.
MP772 ST boasts high contrast ration with 2400:1. High contract ratios translate to razor-sharp detail definition and a broader range of subtle color differences, which makes text is sharper, cleaner, and easy to read and in turn grab students' attention and interest.
3D instruction will be the trend in education, opening up opportunities in teaching methods for educators and students alike. BenQ projectors and DLP Link are taking teaching to a whole dimension of effectiveness and enjoyment... at no extra costs. And unlike the traditional 3D projector system, which requires two perfectly aligned projectors to transmit two separate video feeds in order to deliver a 3D projection, MP772 ST has mastered 3D display so as to require only one projector equipped with Front Project 3D DLP Link technology.
With numerous students shuffling about, it's no wonder schools are extremely prone to dust. Unlike LCD projectors that require costly filters to keep dust out, BenQ DLP projectors are no filters required!
BenQ is proud to introduce Crestron - supported RoomView network service for school. MP772 ST is Crestron RoomView-supported to provide IT personnel and projector managers simplified real-time, facility-wide central access and control over a single projector or groups of projectors simultaneously via a single station.
