I bought the Acer XD1150 DLP Projector with this purpose in mind. I chose Acer because I had recently purchased a budget monitor for my new computer and I was highly satisfied with its performance given the price I paid. The Acer XD... Sony VPD MX10 ... projector, is fine, that s all you can say really. Gives OK kinda images in a varioety of formats. It s actually not very good at aanything but gives acceptable performance in a number of areas. It s the kind of projector you could use as an emergency for home video, but nothing more than that, whilst similalry giving "OK" presaentations to clients. Had a real batle with Sony to do the decent thing and replace bulb free of charge. Replacment bulb did not cover any thing like the claim of bulb... Read the full review: VPD mx10 by Tony |

The DLP chip housed within the MP3130 consists of more than one million mirrors that reflect that reflect individual pixels onto the screen.... Infocus X1 ... boyfriend expected to pay 800 pounds plus for a budget projector that would have a good enough picture quality to play xbox games on and watch action films. He payed £499 for the infocus x1 at Pcworld although he was told that the picture wouldnt be particularly clear we had a good feeling about it . We got it home and set it up and after fidding about with the leads for some time managed to connect it to the xbox. There we sat then for the next hour, mouths open with awe. The picture was clear, text was crisp and we get a 5ft by 5 ft picture from about 8 ft from the wall. The clarity is amazing, you even start to forget its just projected on the wall and its see...
