Epson EMP 5500 ... projector targeted at the mobile presenter requiring maximum portability, without sacrificing advanced features, for a versatile, professional presentation. Weighing only 4.2Kg, with a strong, lightweight polycarbonate casing, and only 85mm high (excluding foot) with an A4 footprint, the EMP-5500 is a truly personal portable projector.

Utilizing Epson's 0.9" Ultra High Aperture Polysilicon TFT LCD Panels, in conjunction with Polarization Conversion Technology and a high bright 120W Ultra High Power lamp, the EMP-5500 achieves a high bright 650 ANSI lumens. The EMP-5500 is a true SVGA resolution projector, utilizing second-generation conversion technology for VGA and XGA display. The Balanced Image Size Conversion Technology incorporated in the EMP-5500 electronics achieves ultra smooth, jaggy free data and video images for high quality output. The EMP-5500 supports NTSC 4.43, M-PAL, and N-PAL, in addition to NTSC 3.58, PAL and SECAM video formats. This compatibility ensures that the EMP-5500 meets the needs of the worldwide market and mobile presenters that travel the world no longer need to be concerned about video compatibility.

The curtains need to be closed for full viewing pleasure. Colours are great. It's wonderful to watch a film like this. Full adjustment is available eith manually through the extensive button system on the projector itself or through the easy to use and very clear remote control. Excellent projector - lightweight, excellent lamp life. This projector comes with a variety of cables enablong connection to your computer, via USB leads and connectors, to your Television and video recorder. Picture quality is very good. I have used the projector on my white wall in place of our television and it really does produce a bright, accurate and well focussed image almost as good as the LCD television itself. Computer images are also excellent. The curtains need to be closed for full viewing pleasure. Colours are great. It's wonderful to watch a film like this.
