a very versitile projector, not exactly high quality" but most definately useful. The short throw distance makes it perfect for home use and its portability makes it the best choice for on the go presentations. I wouldnt reccomend any high quality productions with it, but it will project powerpoint very well. I am currently using mine as a film projector, the fan noise is easily covered by tv/film audio. the picture quality is fine for home use and having a 72" screen is great for watching LOST. it will project larger given a better distance, but quality is quickly compromised in a large room. Over all a great projector for low quality presentations or for messing about with at home. If you can borrow one, why not have a film night with friends. If anyone says it isnt high enough quality, kick them out for being pretentious. I love mine!
The CP-S220 projector has a unique feature: a short throw lens distance of 1.5m (60") from lens to screen. It can therefore be used in very small rooms, and there is no compromise in picture quality, size etc, while the zoom lens means it can also be used in larger venues. Electronic keystone correction ensures a perfect square picture wherever the projector is placed.
The projector can accept a wide range of computer signals: XGA is remapped to the CP-S220's native SVGA resolution by use of new sophisticated LSI to give a perfect picture whatever the source. Portability At 2.35kgs the CP-S220 weighs less than a portable PC, currently the lightest and smallest in its class. It occupies no more space than a sheet of A4.
