I bought this projector off Ebay australia for $500, and absolutely love it, it is perfect for DVD and DIVX movies, colors are accurate and bright with the 2000 ansi lumes on eco mode, and is whisper quiet. On a budget redleaf 84inch screen ($150) hooked up to a ($160) Panasonic mini hi fi, it is a fantastic budget bedroom home theater setup for $850 buks.
I have mounted to the ceiling with a $30 ceiling mount off Ebay.
Rainbow effect in not noticeable, and the projector is about 2.5kg, and 25cm long, quite small and light to mount up.
It is 3.2 metres from the wall, giving an 80inch (2 meter screen).
I prefer this over high res LCD TVs, because LCDs are so crisp, film looks like video, and costs are $2000 grand plus.
SVideo from dvd player is perfect for divx and dvd.
Two thums up!
