ONE FOR THE PROs. (JVC DLA G20E)
Member Name: Mark Edwards
Advantages: BIG, CLEAR PICTURE, HUGE IMAGE, EASY TO USE. Disadvantages: HOT, needs plenty of space, not whisper quiet, expensive lamps. EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT, what a machine! perfectly able to display full HD(scaled to 1050 via component), pin sharp images more than keep up with fast moving action from DVD or BLU-RAY. Fully adjustable thru easy to understand menu layout. There are more PRO-based adjustments that can be performed, but thats best left for when you get to know its' characteristics a bit better. All in all the opening sentence says it all. There are a few prices to pay, it's big, it's heavy the fan will make itself obvious if your viewing room is not big enough. The lamps aren't cheap(£1250plus)and it runs very warm/hot, but when you switch to 'eco' mode it does quieten down a bit and the heat output does drop, but as i said if you are noticing these before any tweaking, you have bought the wrong machine for your sized viewing room. If you cieling mount, remember the weight. Summary: only just edged out by newer D-ILA full hi-def models.
