Panasonic PT AE900 ... this projector does not seem to be available to buy new anymore, as it came out about 3 years ago at the time of writing, but as I own it and it may help someone: Panasonic produced this model just as high definition was starting to become widely accepted, and it is high-def compatible or ready , but only up to 1280 x 720. It does have the HDMI input (one socket), and also the SCART, S-Video, PC, Component RGB Video and Composite Video inputs. I have used the PC, S-Video and RGB inputs and was very pleased with the results. The RGB is obviously the best, short of HDMI, as long as you have a DVD player which will output that type. Philips Garbo LC6231 ... have been teaching using one of these for nearly a year now and I have been very pleased with it. The brightness and clarity that this projector produces are such that I often forget to turn off the lights when using it. Very impressive. This machine has all the features you would expect, a good remote control with easy access to all features, a warning when you turn off to ensure that you don t do so accidentally and all the inputs I ever need in the classroom including: PS2, USB, S Video, Audio, Component Audio and VGA. It also has onboard sound which can be useful along with easily accessible volume and mute controls. The keystone function works well and levels its... Hitachi CP RX60W ... I thought of projects, i use to think of big bulky OHP projects that were used in school. If your thinking of purchasing a LCD projector like the Hitachi CP RX60W completey dismiss that thought, this projector is smaller and weighs less than a laptop. Because of this it is excellent for both home or business use. A nice surprise about this projector was that it has a very loud built in speaker so there is no need to buy extra speakers to go along with it. The quaility of the picture is fantastic for any of your needs be it photos, movies or just surfing the net. It has connections for your laptop, tv and video game system. I can tell you from first hand experience... Read the full review: Televisions are so 20th century by my_ke |
