good value project from a name you can trust (Optoma DS316)

Advantages: good value hard wearing not bad picture quality

Disadvantages: The cable from the laptop to the projector isntlong enough but able to purchase a longer one

I have been using the Optima DS316 for meetings presentations for the last six months at work and was excited to discover it was listed on Dooyoo so I thought I would be the first to review it.
What initially brought this projector to my attention was its striking jet black and smoky grey colour and high standard build quality that is so important as far too many things get dropped and broken through carelessness in our work place
The projector is easy to set-up with one cable that connects the laptop to the projector Windows recognises the new hardware and usually without incident the projector starts to display what is currently on the laptop screen

I have found the picture quality to be of a high standard not quite HD quality but for a projector of about 320 pounds you cannot complain
With every projector you have the issue that the bulb is usually over half the price of a new projector and they usually last about 1000 hours.
The projector boasts nearly 2000 hours of life which is good compared to other projectors that I have tried in the past through work and home use

The size of the projector is another good aspect to discuss, as the size of the projectors has dropped massively over the last few years these projectors have really become an alternative to the TV or home entertainment system In conclusion this product is light and compacted easily transported in a car or even a rucksack and in my best judgement about 1.5 kg so not a problem to carry around

The build quality looks strong and the legs on the projector look hard wearing and not the usual flimsy plastic that would break off if you weren't very careful.
I haven't tried to change the bulb yet as its not blown but when I do I will update this review.
I would suggest that if anyone wants a good value for money projector for there home to give this one a try
