Sanyo PLC XU45 ... portable miniatures is impressive: the PLC-XU45 projector sets new standards in the class of ultra portable devices are even brighter with an exceptional 2500 ANSI lumens. The new portable also performs sensationally in small rooms. Thanks to its standard lens with a throw ratio of 1.9-2.6: 1 (F = 1.7 - 2.0 / f = 37.4 - 48.3), the PLC-XU45 is ideal for distances of up to 12.2 meters.

Here's a clever idea for use in bars, cafés, pubs and other public areas: the special "Smoke Resistant Box" accessory with extra air filter (available separately) protects the sensitive LCD panel from smoke, grease and dust. This lowers maintenance costs and increases the projector's service life. The new ultra portable is pleasantly quiet too: via temperature sensors, the fan speed is adjusted automatically to the temperature required for cooling. This decreases the overall volume level. In ECOMode - at 80% illumination - the fan noise can be reduced by approximately 10%.

The new SANYO projector includes standard computer connectors. If a control monitor is connected to the monitor output, presenters can keep an eye on the contents of their presentation without having to turn and face the projection screen. Consequently, presenters always remain in direct contact with their audience. In addition, the new SANYO ultra portable projector has all of the video inputs that are common in its class. The Component input as well as S-Video and Composite video input are standard features. Those who prefer cable-free operation can use the supplied remote control with its integrated air mouse function. The remote control replaces a conventional cabled mouse.

With the optional Wireless Imager package for the PLC-XU45 projector, cables can be eliminated altogether. This expansion pack allows data to be transferred from the computer to the projector via radio over distances of approximately 30 meters. As a result, cables become a thing of the past and the computer no longer has to be positioned right next to the projector. For ultimate convenience, with the Media Card Imager for the XU45 projector, you can leave your laptop at home. Since the presentation data can be read directly from a PC card by means of the optional card adaptor, no computer is required.
