Advantages: Fabulous picture quality

Disadvantages: Large and quite heavy but very quiet

This projector is a HUGE step up from my previous DLP machine, which itself was earning all the mid price plaudits from magazines and review columns of this kind only 2 years ago. Easy to set up, very quiet, and in my case throwing an amazingly sharp 2.5 metre picture from a distance of only 3.2metres. Used in conjunction with a Humax freesat PVR the difference between BBC HD and the normal BBC channel is so compelling that I will never look back. Deep blacks with good contrast, vivid colours, no visible chicken wire or jitter at this picture size, bright bright whites - what more could you want at home. I compared it with a Panasonic at £700 more and the differences were so small that they could only be seen on carefully chosen sequences designed to pick out the difference. Don't hesitate. Get one if you can! I got mine at home cinema centre Edinburgh - excellent service all round.
