garymarsh6 Absolut Ice Bar (London): ... Ice bar Heddon Street, London. The ice bar is situated just off Regent street down a small alleyway and is quite easily missed. It consists of several bar areas and a restaurant. I chose this place to take a group of my colleagues as a surprise one evening because I wanted somewhere that was unusual and we certainly got that. The below zero building consists of the following bars: The absolute ice bar. The wol...

Clurbur85 Wetherspoons Pubs - in general
... pubs are located up and down the country and they all typically contain three things: cheap food, cheap drink and chavs! Personally I have been drinking in Weatherspoons pubs for about eight years now (I m 24 :o/ )and I don t think that much has changed in these establishments - other than the decision some pubs have taken to play music on Friday and Saturday nights (Weatherspoons pubs used to be non-music zone). Working in Manchester city centre means that I am close to a few Weatherspoons pubs and I frequently have a "quick one after work" in the one across the road. The main reason I keep going back is the low prices. I bought a bottle of Kop...

niklas89 Wetherspoons Pubs - in general
... seems that wherever I am in this country there is always a Wetherspoons. For me its one of the most recognisable brands in the UK (which probaly says alot about me) but whether im in my local area, around Manchester or further afield, Wetherspoons is nearly always the first port of call to visit. The reason that their pubs stand out form the others is that despite it being a popular chain of pubs, both the drinks and the food served are of good quality and also very cheap. There always seems to be special offers on the food, which makes a good value meal even better, the menu changes and updates regularly and there is always a good selection and the quality is consista...

fwsoames Linford Arms (Cannock)
... Linford Arms is a JD Wetherspoon pub in Cannock. Now I tend to have a very fixed view on the JDW experience, having drunk in many of their establishments I find them to be generally full of old winos who are attracted by the chains biggest selling point, cheap ale. However this place may have helped to alter my perception an inch or two. I visited on a chill November evening about 5ish. Despite the traditional baseball capped chavs smoking outside, the interior was a bit of a revelation. The Linford comprises of a series of linked rooms, each with its own atmosphere and décor. Its brilliant. There were about 5/6 of these separate areas and they give the pub a qu...
