Advantages: Indie music, cheep drinks
Disadvantages: fever in.
Firstly i haven't been to 5th Ave in a while, but i love it and will be going very shortly. It's located in Manchester near the bottom of Princes Street. It's open most nights and on Friday and Saturady it's a fever in or one fifty with NUS card. I think ladies get in free before 11. It's open from about 9 til 3 but the bar closes at 2. They have offers on drinks, a Quid for carling and hienken(bottles), and have your typical cheap girly drinks and they have Stella(my favourite). The music they play is mainly indie, with some rock etc at the beining. They play Oasis,Stone Roses, Charletons, Happy Mondays etc but you still can request songs. So basically if you like indie i would go there. Personally i don't mind it, but still have a great time in the place. The people who go are mostly indie fan's. I would cheek it out if you like indie and from Manchester. Rory

- 17/03/02 Hi rory, I was enjoying your op, but it stopped so soon :o( Maybe you could add in a little bit more about this club. What's the decor like, the age range it would appeal to, that kind of thing. |
