The Banque is mine and my mates start pub on our weekly Saturday night out in Morpeth. The atmosphere is quite good. It's a bit quiet at 7pm when we go in, but by about 8:30pm it's usually quite busy. The music is pretty good and they have a DJ on a weekend but it's not a night club so don't expect it to be too pumping. The beer is pretty reasonably priced. I drink Snakebite (Half Cider + Half Lager) and it costs me £2.08 which is ok. There's also cheap bottles and pints at £1 and they are good value. The staff are really friendly. My mate sensual blonde works there and a few of my other mates do too so I can't really say otherwise can I!! They also serve food through the day. I've had food once or twice from there and I thought it was quite nice and good value for money, although it was the usual pre-prepared stuff. The Banque's opening hours are quite good too. They are open usual opening hours on weekdays and Sundays but Friday and Saturday they are open til midnight. On the whole I'd say the Banque is definately worth a visit. If you like it busy come on Friday or Saturday (Or Sunday on a Bank Holiday Weekend) but choose a weekday if you like it a bit quieter.
