Advantages: Different, genuine landlord.

Disadvantages: Its not perfect so there are small problems but all forgivable.

Situated in a used railway carriage, under a railway bridge, this is a small pub struggling to survive alongside the big branded pubs nearby. It is however wonderful in a way a branded pub never can be. It is unpretencious, the Landlord is the barman (and one suspects cleaner and anything else that needs doing), and a different setting for a drink. The landlord is also great fun and very accomadating, anything he can do to ensure you have a good night, or a nice drink he will do. The all day breakfasts or other similar meals on offer here are excellent value and deeply satisfying in a way that only fried food can be. There are a range of drinks promotions, like triples for singles, but since the place is small and has no great corporate structure for support, there is not the breadth of choice or the crazy deals others can offer. I would go here, not every time I went out, but regularly. IOt is the sort of pub everyone will like certain aspects from, and also one that deserves the support of the drinking public.
