Detroit

Detroit is one of those bars I shouldn't be telling you about. It's hard to find if you're not looking for it, and its intimate atmosphere is created by those who know it and return again and again. It's a great little place - downstairs, cavernous bar serving cocktails and bottled beers, plus a restuarant area that I'm told does great food. It is not cheap - beers come in at £3, and cocktails around a fiver, but it's worth paying for the cool surroundings.
