I've never had a bad time at the Dog Star! It's always packed to the rafters with a young and up-for-it crowd, and the music is always pumping. Clientele tend to be no-attitude fun lovers and the staff are the same. No dress code, fairly inexpensive with its 'house doubles', and open until around 3am every night, even Sundays! It does tend to get incredibly hot and sweaty when the night starts really roaring, but thats never really bothered me - you just have to dress accordingly.
