UPDATE ****** A quick update just to let you know having been into Edwards more recently, they have changed and updated their menu and it now includes more veggie selections. This is a review about the Edwards Bar in Bradford on Great Horton Road. When this initally opened up I was very wary having had some not too good experiences in it when it was located in the centre of Bradford. For those who do not know Edwards is primarily a wine bar chain but also serves food. But as it happens I ended up here one day for lunch. Initial Impression My initial impression once I walked through the door was how spacious and well layed out it appeared with booths, as well as easy chairs and tables, although for the time of the day the lighting was a tad gloomy. The Menu and food Now here was the hard part the menu was very extensive and had lots of tempting dishes on it. I choose the Spicy Salsa Chicken melt which also comes with a salad and curly fries. It was fabulously tasty and the fries (bare in mind I am not a chip lover) were absolutely delicious they have some sort of savoury coating, and the salad dressing was lovely, the chicken melt was fabulous however after eating I had to be rolled out of the door as it was extremly filling, I have to say the prices were reasonable my sandwich came to £4.55 which considering also gave you curly fries (mmmmmmmm) and a side salad I thought was fairly reasonable. They do cater for vegitarians although the vegetarian menu does seem a little limited. The Service The service we received was really good, as being awkward I wanted a menu so next time I went I could plan my meal in advance and the friendly chappie who served us gave me a few little menus and didn't seem to consider it a problem (which some places do). Cleanliness Edwards was very clean and the toilets as well were extremely clean. O
verall I found it to be good value for money, friendly and helpful service and extremly tasty. I will be going again but oh what do I choose Topped curly fries, no Spicy Chicken noodles, No Bacon and cheese Panini. Oh I don't know.
