Newest Review: ... great for and students are welcomed even though it's not necessarily a student venue. But they were hosting a Maccabees afterparty the other weekend which I thought I'd check out. Was a mint night with the live bands and the Maccabees Djing. The staff were a right laugh - one of the barmen even jumped on the decks for a while. It was a really good atmosphere and the people that were in there were totally chilled out and only interested in a good night - where as the clientele on Call Lane can often just be after drinking too much, throwing a few punches and causing trouble. I've been to The Elbow Room a few times with mates just to chill out with the drinks and pool during the week, which it's great for and students are welcomed even though it's not necessarily a student venue. Don't eat here... Have been twice: The 1st time the burgers took an hour and arrived completely uncooked. The 2nd time (Which was on invitation from management because of the 1st time) all ten of us were ill with food poisoning!Thank you Elbow Rooms for the experience!

The Elbow Rooms in Leeds is situated next to the Fruit Cupboard near Dyson Chambers. Elbow Rooms is technically a pool hall/pub, however that said it makes a fantastic night club! Whether you are just after something good to eat in the middle of the day, a few pints or cocktails and some american Pool or your up for clubbing the night away with some of the best DJs/performers then this pub/club is exactly what you need. There are two floors with a bar each, and even a games rooms with varied arcade machines, pool tables are on both floors towards the back of the club.
