Estaminet

This is my favourite place to 'socialise' at the weekend. Being 25 (2 mortgages, 3 cats, husband & demanding job)... yes - a little young to sport the previous... I like somewhere a bit more 'reserved' to visit. Clubs and hangouts such as Liquid, Espionage and The Priory frustrate me: 14 year olds donning white PVC mini skirts p*ssed as a fart and screaming abuse...no thanks. For those of you not into the aforementioned I do recommend Estaminet. The atmosphere is fab - lovely homely lighting, a proper 'old pub' look about it. This is a funny place and has a funny name to go with it. This drinking establishment (you can't call it a pub!) is called Estaminet. Funny place, funny name. If anyone knows what the name means please tell me! Estaminet is situated on the edge of the city centre so is a good place to head to first or to meet up with friends. I would describe it as a place where the cool funky people hang out! The first time I was here I was meeting friends and it was a good night.
