      A so so bar

When it comes to clubs in Weston Super Mare, well we only have a couple of them and they are really young places. We tend to have a lot of pubs and bars open late though and this is one of them!

      The Place:

Beach Road / Weston Super Mare BS23 1AS

This bar/late night venue is on the beach road so overlooks Weston Super Mare Beach. It is in the the heart of the centre of the town too with Yates, Dragon Kiss, Divas and numerous other bars and course there are loads of restaurants and take aways near by as well as atm machines and shops. There is a taxi rank just a stones throw away from it as well as buses and parking areas so easily accessible it is.

The bar itself is a rather large place, a big white building with large windows to the front of it and a side entrance up some steps. This would be rubbish for disabled people or people with problems walking and the likes.

Open from about 11am till 12am in weekdays and till about 3.30am (this time does tend to vary) this is a popular haunt for all ages in Weston Super Mare. In the daytimes its reasonably quiet with the clientèle being older and family orientated and then at weekends more of a younger age range visits with a 21 age policy on the door and free entrance.

Eternity's looks nice when you walk in. Polished floors, plenty of dark wood seating areas and sofas and a large bar. At weekends there is a dj on and what people themselves make into a dance floor (though it isn't a huge area) and the place is clean and tidy. Staff here are friendly enough and there is always plenty of them on, including bouncers at weekends (who may be big but are a friendly bunch).

The bar is well stocked with all the usual suspects. Alcopops are about £4.00 a bottle, a double vodka and coke £4.00 a pint about the same. A coke and soft drinks are about £2.00 each and there is a range of none alcoholic and hot beverages too on offer of course.

The music here is loud and modern at night, in the daytimes much more subtle and there is a good feeling within the place and I have never seen any trouble in here with bouncers at the weekend circulating the bar often and having no problem getting rid of those who have consumed too much!

The toilets though are simply horrible and a huge let down. Once again down a couple of steps (there is no disabled loo that I am aware of in here) and they always smell rotten and there is only a couple of cubicles in the womens. The other issue here is after half two in the morning you are not allowed outside (as no one else is allowed in) and so you can't go outside and smoke which means people craftily smoke in the toilets as they have no where else to go!

This isn't one of my favourite places but it is a late night bar with good music and a good resident dj with ok prices and a good atmosphere!
