If ever you visit Sheffield and you enjoy real ale you have to visit The Fat Cat on Alma Street. It can be found off the inner Sheffield ring road by taking a left turn onto Alma Street at the sign for Kelham Island. This is a traditional English pub with a friendly atmosphere with no jukebox or fruit machine in sight. There is a small bar area with an open fire where the real ale enthusiasts get together for a pint of (Pale Rider) The local brew. There are two other rooms available where you can enjoy a comprehensive menu cooked daily on the premises (Super Food).
