 ... request i would have thought) and the pints i eventually ended up with cost something like £6.40 for two,which seemed a bit excessive...the place itself is something of a barn,devoid of atmosphere,the kind of place which probably had a fair few people in it...more

to be honest i'm not really much of a pub connoisseur, and i was only really looking in this section because i was curious to see if anyone had written reviews of many pubs in dublin, but i couldnt resist complaining about fitzsimons...i saw an ad for it on the back of the event guide which said something like no visit to dublin is complete without a visit to fitzsimons,which must be a sophisticated joke,or perhaps a knowingly ironic/postmodern approach to advertising,cause the place is crap...i only stopped in for a pint with a friend,but they didnt have what i wanted (a pint of miller,a not unusualy request i would have thought) and the pints i eventually ended up ...  Read the complete review
