Advantages: Nice Food, Atractive Settings, Pleasant Staff
Disadvantages: Not Much!
There are many things I like about the Five Bells.
For a starters, it couldn't be in nicer settings. The pleasant village of Weston Turville about a mile away from where I live in Wendover. When you look at the pub it looks like a nice country pub - its very attractive both on the inside and out.
Its a bit like another pub in Buckinghamshire - The Firecrest. They have spent loads of money doing it up and it is a really nice pub now. I think the two are by the same 'company', Vintage Pubs, and if they're not they have pretty similar menus.
The food is nice also - there is a good range on the menu. Vegetarian dishes, kids menu most things to suit everybodies tastes.
Its a good family pub - you can't book but its very big and even on a Sunday, which is when I went we still found space for a family of 7 with plenty of tables empty.
Obviously I hadn't seen all the staff, but the waiters and waitresses were fairly pleasant and no body was rude or annoying in anyway.
Its a good family pub - perfect for lunches out. Its attractive, the food is nice and the staff are pleasant. I'd recomend it if you are near Weston Turville.
