Frankensteins Bar is a great theme bar for hens/stags and birthdays. There are a wide variety of drinks and great cheesy music. Frankenstein comes down from the ceiling at certain times during the night and is good novelty value. When you go into the toilets you can also get a fright as there are groans and sighs from ghouls coming from the speaker system.

The food is quite nice too and varies from nachos (£5.95) to a Haddock Supper (£7.45). There are also a good variety of drinks - such as the cocktail, The Bride of Frankenstein (£5.45) and the Excitabull Sharing Pitcher (£15.95).

The pub is usually jam packed at the weekend with different groups of people having a good time before heading to a club. Yes, it is cheesy and tacky, but it is also entertaining and if you are up for some light-hearted fun, seek out this pub when you are in Edinburgh.
