If you are visiting this beautiful neck of the woods and you need a lunch then visit 'The Grasshopper' pub on Bournemouth Road, Parkstone for a carvery lunch. They are not part of a carvery chain and have run a 'luncheon club' for almost ten years, serving between 12.00 noon and two and again in the evenings. You do not have to be a member, but if you are it's £5 to join for a year and then you get a carvery with a choice of two meats, fish and a pie or casserole and eight vegetables plus roast and boiled potatoes and a sweet and coffee for £6.25.
