Grenadier (London) Reviews

My greeting was some what hostile and the quality of bloody mary has gone out the window! I was clearly being too demanding when I questioned the bloody mary and then asked for the vodka coke to be replaced with diet coke as we had originally ordered! I accept it may have been busy but to then refuse to replace the drink or serve us another was a little odd. I might add we had only had 1 drink so were far from in a bad state. London is short on characterful, unspoiled pubs, but this out-of-the-way Knightsbridge favourite won't disappoint anybody. Inside is a 200-year-old pewter bar and a seductively dark and cosy atmosphere, plus good basic grub and a decent selection of ales. It can get very busy, though.
