Advantages: Bright, clean decor, nice enviornment, well priced Disadvantages: If its not busy may seem too big.
The Hogshead on Beverley road in Hull used to be a theatre, but they have renovated it and turned it into a really nice pub. It has a massive bar area, coupled with tables to eat at and comfy chairs to sit, drink and chat at. It has a big range of meals, with cheap ones and offers, ranging upto more pricey but delicious options. All in all a comprehensive menu. On top of this it has hosted the odd film night, with free popcorn, Belgian beer festivals and cheap drinks on Wednesday evenings. That is not to say its drinks are expensive at any other time, they're not. Since it is situated right next door to the Weatherspoons, its drinks are very competativly priced. Overall a great conversion of an old building into a pub thats well priced and good to visit whether eating or just having a drink with some mates. Summary: |
