The King's Head is located on the main shopping street and is located right opposite Boots. Sometimes there can be a queue to get in. The last time we went we must have queued for a bout 25 minutes which was annoying. Although it was a busy night. You have to 'go through' the bouncers before you go in. They will ask you for I.D and check your bag (I think its for alcohol). The bar staff are always very friendly, especially the owners; they are always really nice and quite comical too (especially the DJ).
