      Very helpful

      The place to be!

The King's Head is located on the main shopping street and is located right opposite Boots.

Sometimes there can be a queue to get in. The last time we went we must have queued for a bout 25 minutes which was annoying. Although it was a busy night. You have to 'go through' the bouncers before you go in. They will ask you for I.D and check your bag (I think its for alcohol).

The bar staff are always very friendly, especially the owners; they are always really nice and quite comical too (especially the DJ).

Now if you are heading out to Oswestry for the night, this is the place to be. Forget Wetherspoons and forget The Boars - this is where it's all at. A lot of the pubs in Oswestry on a night out are 'places to go before you go on to the clubs', however with this pub you could still have a good time and stay here all night.

There is a really great atmosphere here; there is lots of music and a dance floor. I like how it is like a pub crossed with a club. I wouldn't go to the extent of calling it a club because it isn't, pub it is not like a traditional pub either as it has a dance floor.

The pub is quite large and yet it is always quite full. There are seats towards the back of the room which are more 'pubby'. There are a couple of seats near to the dance floor although it is impossible to get one of these seats as they are always taken.

If you like singing, you will pleased to know that they have karaoke. Whilst lots of people do karaoke...it is a bit staggered and so rather than have one after the other, they have one, then play a few songs, then have another one. There is never a long queue for the karaoke which is good.

As for prices, they are quite reasonable. I don't know exactly how much they cost, but they aren't that expensive - around £1.50 for a WKD and £1.20 for a coke so not too bad at all.

I would definitely recommend here, especially if you are after a good night!

      Thanks for reading!
