The kings Head is a favourite name of mine it instantly means i will be meeting up with my friends for the craic before we head off to the night club..theirs one downfall for me being a student..i find it is very expensive to drink in a pub for two hours then be able to afford a nightclub after!its friendly atmosphere and bit of craic sure its worth it in the end really and you will remember it more..the kings Head is a good place for meeting up in even for half an hour you will meet loads of other students and it has a few different levels so its also fun to move ... Galway is the fastest growing city in Europe. It is also the cultural capital of Ireland. It's bohemian populace means that there is a huge variety of public houses on offer. Situated on Shop Street in Galway City the Kings Head holds lots of great memories for anyone who has ever gone to college in Galway. About 5 years ago it was completely renovated, which has transformed its old style charm into something completely different. While its spit on the ground image has now departed the new Kings Head is a modern urban pub with a historic feel to it. This is helped in no small part by the extensive wood furnishings.
