Legless Ladder

The Legless Ladder Chain of pubs are a grim reminder that the 80's really existed. Piggy backing off the vogue set early by the Slug and Lettuce and Harvey Floorbangers chans, these stereotypical dark bar and chrome fitting pubs are to be avoided for a number of reasons. If not totally empty, these pubs seem to be heave with drunk suits and red faced 'cygnet rings'. The atmosphere never really establishes a happy level of patronage to give any of the pubs an all important 'ambience' Now it may be that I am unlucky with my timing when forced into a visit and have a slanted view - I will be interested to hear other users views. ...
