The customers of The Lifeboat Inn are guaranteed to get the best view not just because they are closest, but also because there's always someone in there who knows exactly when it's about to take place! One drawback to the pub, is that the atmosphere is so good it gets very crowded. It becomes ... more  ... impossible to have your pool game and sometimes even to dance along to the music emanating from the bands.
However, as a regular visitor to St. Ives, I absolutely recommend this pub to Emmets!...more |

Appropriately named, The Lifeboat Inn is situated adjacent to the Royal National Lifeboat Institute (RNLI) on the harbour in St. Ives. Serving a mixture of St. Ives residents and Emmets (tourists), The Lifeboat makes for a lively pub. I've been to St. Ives on numerous occasions (I love the place), and every time I have gone I have always popped in to The Lifeboat Inn, and usually I have ordered food, which is reasonably priced, arrives in a timely fashion, is well-presented and tastes delicious.
