The pub also has premium Belgian lagers on offer as well as fruit wines and range of real ciders. Please don't ask for a pint of John Smith's Smooth or anything similar as a punch on the nose from Landlord Sean Collinge can often cause offence! Also worthy of note is the Dragon's Pantry - the catering side of the establishment. This must be one of the few pubs that actually take a knife to a potato to make a chip - and you can taste the difference! YORK'S premier real ale pub is situated a short walk from the railway station. Turn left at the front of the station, cross at the pelican, follow the path under the city wall and the pub lies between the two large Norwich Union office buildings. There are usually more than half a dozen real ales on offer, Black Sheep being their regular offering. The pub also has premium Belgian lagers on offer as well as fruit wines and range of real ciders.
