YORK'S premier real ale pub is situated a short walk from the railway station. Turn left at the front of the station, cross at the pelican, follow the path under the city wall and the pub lies between the two large Norwich Union office buildings. There are usually more than half a dozen real ales on offer, Black Sheep being their regular offering.
