      Very helpful

Definetly worth a look, you won't regret it

O Bar is my favourite bar in Leicester. Part of the Orange Tree chain, O Bar is probably it's biggest bar and is most famous for it's gorgeous cocktails and the hip, young crowd it attracts.

Nestled in Braunstone Gate just near the West End, O Bar is very close to large residential areas, main roads, the De Montfort University campus and still only 10 minutes walk from the City Centre.

As I said before O Bar is world famous for it's cocktail menu - a cute little booklet that describe cocktails in an comical, accurate and easily understandable way. Aside from these they stock a very large selection of spirits, wines and beers, and it pays to ask to try things you haven't before - they gave me a quarter pint of cherry beer for free to try on promotion, Overall definetly something for everyone (even if you don't drink they have gorgeous mocktails too!)

O Bar can be on the slightly pricier side, think weekend bar prices (around £3 or just over for a pint or spirit mixer). The cocktails full price are also about £4, but it really pays to get 1 of their free cocktail cards. They mean you get happy hour prices all of the time and extra discounts on cocktail nights (Thursdays and Sundays at the moment), which means you can get cocktails for as low as £2.50.

The atmosphere is really what makes the O Bar. It attracts a student and young professional crowd, and even has been described by more than 1 person I know as the 'best place to pull in Leicester'! Staff and customers are always friendly, I've never seen any trouble there, generally a nice place to be where you'll often meet someone you know.

What I also like about O Bar is the little touches they have to add to the atmosphere. For example they provide board games for anyone to get out and play. It's a great icebreaker and makes O Bar that little bit better than other similar bars.
I like the fact that O Bar also serves food, think bar snacks with that little bit more. They serve things like nachos and paninis, refreshingly all day as well unlike many other bars. This means you'll never be left with nothing to do or nibble on in this place, just a 1 of the few of the reasons that make this the best drinking hole in Leicester.
