O'Neill's bars, as the name may suggest, are a chain of Irish pubs/bars that were once only common sight in Ireland but are now found in nearly every town or city in the UK and are opening up all over the world. Atmosphere The success of these bars can be attributed to many factors, none more so then the lively, friendly atmosphere you find an O'Neill's always has. O'Neill's bars are a chain of bars that have an Irish touch too them. With Irish writing on the walls and old pictures of Guinness everywhere you look, you may think you have walked off your local high street and into Ireland itself. Most big towns and cities have an O'Neills, and they are good bars to have a drink or three in of a night time. Food As with most other bars, O'Neills offers plenty of choice food wise, including burgers, jacket potatoes, sandwiches, etc. But what they include in meals that most other places don't is traditional Irish food, such as colcannon and Irish sausages. O'neils never fails. There is a trusty o'neils in nearly evert big town. They provide a large selection of alcholic and non-alcholic drinks, with usually a fair few decent beers to draft. The prices generally are a bit higher then some bars i know however the atmosphere is much nicer. I tend to go to watch the football as they generally put up large screens when there is a big match on. They also do the place up on special occassions such as halloween and st Patricks day (however i live in a student town so it may not be the same for every branch).
